Dang I get both my new lens and new microphone tomorrow. But I need to shoot tomorrow’s video tonight....do I risk waiting or should I be responsible and keep to schedule.

also what voodoo do you use that allows you to start filming a video the night before it’ll be released?? you must really have your post-production workflow down! I tend to spend 3x more time editing than filming.

Oh no, 90% of the work is done before I hit record, that means editing is super easy.

Make a whole bunch of videos and hone your workflow into a knife edge. I don’t do fancy edits, and I have everything set up and ready to go so just a flick of a couple switches and I’m good to go.

I’m about 75% of the way to having a permanent recording setup in place, it’s already saved me time even tho it’s not perfect. I still struggle with how scripted the dialogue should be. The less scripted the more editing. The more scripted, the worse the final result.
