I’d really like something that will ping me for each webmention so I can approve it or reject it. Are there any existing services that do that? (Please say yes I don’t need more side projects)

how are you getting and storing the webmentions now? If I want notifying about something, most of the time I just punch out an RSS feed for it and then subscribe to that, if that's a useful approach

I used to use webmention.io but got rid because I just got loads of bloody spam on my site!
Yeh and I’ve done all that on the past. It’s just spam ones have historically been live a long time before I’ve got around to removing them, which is a tad frustrating.

Out of curiosity what do you mean by spam? Unwanted bridgy feedback? Spam sent via pingback? I am not likely to add a manual approval step FYI because that kind of moderation gets tiring and overwhelming quickly. But you can do it via the web hook!
