HDMI will always make me nervous though. With how cheap mini converters have become, converting to and from SDI for long runs makes a lot of sense.

The BlackMagic micro converters, or the Panlong brand, which I'm pretty sure are generic clones of something that's probably available under 5 different names. But they do work.
