I can’t decide if I actually have a use for this or not… a 15.6” thin (like iPad) external HDMI/USB-C monitor for $110. Add a second monitor to a laptop or even new iPad sounds clever. But do I *need* it? Damn sales… geni.us/mkwdmx

I have a 13" one that I use with my portable ATEM setup and it's fantastic. This is a ridiculously good deal!

I'm so dumb. I forgot that I had the ATEM Mini coming. This would have been PERFECT for that. Grrrr oh well. Don't need it don't need it don't need it.

on the plus side, there's no multiview on the ATEM Mini, so you're probably going to want to hook up an HDMI recorder to it anyway so the large screen isn't really important 🤷‍♂️

Yeah that's my one disappointment so far; no multiview.

yeah it's a little unfortunate, but I think only people coming at it from the higher end switchers will care. If you think of it like a glorified HDMI capture card then it makes sense why they don't have it.

Sure. I can’t get over the scalers. And apparently the keyer is incredible.

It really is! So much better than the TV Studio!
aaand office hours are a wrap! If you're curious how I got this nice greenscreen effect with my cat background without chewing up the CPU on my computer, I made a video that talks about the new @Blackmagic_News ATEM Mini that I used for this! youtube.com/watch?v=fx2Iq-_q…
