Internet controlled thermostats are pretty sweet. Landed SFO, home in a few hours, so time to turn the heat back on!

In full winter we have to leave the heat on or pipes could freeze if it gets really bad. Oregon… we have real winters :-)

I forget these things living in a large apartment building where it seemingly can't get below 70 inside and I sometimes even find myself opening the windows in the winter because it's too warm inside

We have a window that’s something like 12 ft /4m x 6ft/2m. And it’s single pane. It’s gorgeous, but also, bye-bye heat!!
