Looking for 'protip' methods on hyper-accurate location tracking within a small area鈥搇ike a single open room. What's out there for this?

What type of accuracy do you need? Bluetooth beacons can tell you when someone is in the immediate vicinity. If you need positioning at arbitrary locations that's a different story. I used a Wi-Fi system once, no software required in the phone but requires hardware in corners.

Hardware may be inevitable. Hoping to capture individual positions in an arbitraraly sized field (2D/3D) modeled after a room filled with people. Each person would have a bounding box with an arbitraraly sized radius. The points of intersecting boxes is what I want to harness. 馃槑

And by 'have' I mean 'would be' a moving bounding box. ;)
