I've been using eSIMs for international travel for a while now, it's fantastic. Having cell service from the moment the plane touches down because I bought it before I left is great.

It's hard to capture just how bad the air has been in Portland over the last 48 hours

I made my sensor convert to AQI so I could compare it with the AQI reported outside

I actually had 877-99-AARON a long long time ago and it forwarded to my google voice number. But this was way before the spam call problem got so bad. Now I wish I had kept it!

People comparing this to "every NFL match" as if that somehow makes any of it okay???
#BurningMan created an art installation one can see from space. It's called INSANITY and included tens of thousands of people burning thousands of gallons of gas while spending up to 13 hours trying to exit the festival in 110 degree heat.

It got easier to take drone photos of it 😅

As I'm sure comes at no surprise, given the deadline is next week, the FAA is delaying the enforcement of Remote ID for another 3 months to give drone manufacturers more time to figure things out.
The FAA announced at @ExpoUAV that it will use enforcement discretion for drone manufacturers who are making progress towards Remote ID compliance through December 16, 2022. Full details will be posted to the Federal Register on September 8. #expouav

Solid views on that, nice!
I know I shouldn't make jokes about the Queen but there is literally nowhere higher to punch up

Exactly, plus it's not like everyone's audiences line up exactly, so it's actually an impossible problem to solve.

From now on there can only be one active livestream on youtube at a time 🤦‍♂️

Surprisingly that is not mentioned on the wikipedia page!

Artlist, because it has the most permissive license. Plus I've already had them fight some bogus copyright claims on my videos and they were great about it.

I've definitely popped my phone's SIM into the YoloBox to livestream from it. Also it's nice to be able to buy a local SIM when out of the country cause it's often cheaper than the eSIM plans.
