I've actually had this argument with them a couple times, no luck so far. The worst is when I open Notion on a device when I'm nowhere near wifi and it's like nope nope

For anything beyond the most basic JOINs I go back to writing raw SQL, otherwise it takes me longer to figure out the obscure ORM syntax to get the right query

I built news.indieweb.org a long time ago to be exactly that! It even had upvoting via webmention, but I took that out a while ago. There's also indieweb.xyz with effectively subreddits

Frankly I've been in a silent fit of rage watching the country regress, but I don't think I have anything particularly unique to add. So instead, I am favoriting tweets by others more well spoken to encourage the twitter algorithm to bubble them up to my followers
