That would require learning more git than I care to know 😄 But for real, that is cool though, probably a better long term solution.

Same! I made a bash alias to revert the last git commit because I can never remember that convoluted series of characters and I got tired of googling "git revert last commit". Now I can type `git oops`

LinkedIn wants me to pay them to message you so I dunno if this platform is gonna work out in the long term 🤷‍♂️
This has almost certainly already happened in real life

Since it's apparently OAuth week (yes I just made that up), this is your periodic reminder to review what third-party apps have access to your accounts! Here's a link to Twitter security settings: nitter.vloup.ch/settings/applica… and links for other services: indieweb.org/appaccess

I never thought they did? Checked a couple old ones and they look fine. If anything, sometimes the background lighting is oversaturated and blows out one of the color channels.

ooh all four are thunderbolt! That probably adds a considerable amount to the cost of it!

This is the kind of stuff that makes me glad I work in software standards and not hardware standards

Oh gosh I hadn't heard about USB4 at all yet. Is it going to use the same port as C?

What's really sad is my PC needs 100W which virtually no accessories can provide, so I need to plug in my USB-C hub *and* the laptop's charger anyway
We were promised that USB-C would solve all our connectivity problems. Instead, I have two USB-C ports on this laptop, only one of which is Thunderbolt, which is worse because they look identical but act different. Also apparently only some USB-C cables support Thunderbolt too.

There are some big changes coming in the OAuth/OIDC community, but moving away from JWTs is not one of them. Like most things, if you know how to use them properly, JWTs are fine, which is why it's usually the best bet to go with a major provider's implementation.

The GX9 can do 1080 at 24fps right? If so, I'm interested!

It looks great! I shot my last one in 4K but I don't think it was really worth it. Took forever to make proxy files to be able to edit it at all, and in the end what for? so you can see more hairs on my face?

I did this 6 months ago and it was great. But then I went and got more bags...
