@kchrist My linux box connects to the modem, and my IP address changes only every six months or so.
@kchrist Residential service, first level techs can't do much, but you can escalate to talk to someone who knows what they're doing.

@oscargodson I agree oAuth is complicated from the server side, but it's relatively smooth from the user's perspective.
@oscargodson The point is to train users *not* to enter their password on 3rd party sites, in favor of using oAuth at the provider.
