Setting up your own registry is basically impossible because you need to be accredited by both @ICANN and whatever TLD you want (i.e. @VERISIGN for .net) and they would slit my throat and dump my body before letting me get accreditation. It also costs tens of thousands of $.

Update: The Kiwi Farms was able to stay with Epik due to personal protection from Brian Royce. At some point, he parted ways with the company after a messy corporate issue. The first thing on the chopping block was Kiwi Farms. @EpikLLC allow me to move the domain.

It is very dark how contemporary news has total control over their body of work. There's very little print and it's hard to find copies. All online articles are being silently edited. Plus tougher copyright laws preventing free archival. Nothing exists except an endless present.
