Switching from @youtubemusic to @tidal is wild. Hard to explain, but especially while listening to single instrument country music you can really hear the string plucks and vibrations. It's so much clearer and I didn't even know what I was missing. Degoogling going well lads

it’s like that with everything. people are used to having 0 standards set in society, so they become numb to what they’re missing. just like a good night’s sleep. it all starts with the garbage policies corporations set and normalize.

Holy shit you weren’t kidding.
I dunno if it's cause I am old, but the idea of paying for a service to listen to music is just wild to me. I guess you can't buy CDs for everything, but limewire had me covered.

Tidal is a service that gives you lossless audio files, so it makes sense. Make sure to invest in a good pair of headphones to get the most out of it.

Thanks to @tidal I found out some very great songs I would never hear ever. Good app but sadly albums can disappear from their online catalog so remember to download all your favorite ones with the best quality, that way you should be able to still play them.
Even at higher quality bitrate YT music still uses lossy files. You made the right choice.
You get that thing I sent you?
Tidal is great. I liked it's UI better than Spotify's and I'm probably switching back.

Google dropping the ball hard with their music service at usual. I'm convinced they are just content with letting it die at this point, they can't even be fucked releasing a native windows app for it after years.
