Patrick S. Tomlinson, failed sci-fi author, sued 60 anonymous posters on the Internet. He lost, and was ordered to pay costs. Part of costs paid included rights to a headshot photo, which he prefers to use as an avatar. The new owner DMCAs him every time he tries to use it lol
