Very easy in the southeast and you can fish year round. Simple cheap license can be obtained online. Supplies are widely available.

you can just go to wal mart and get cheddar filled grilled bass from the bakery. pretty easy.

River fishing , and lake fishing are the easier bets imo, less fight than a sea or ocean fish. With the right bait and timing , you could get atleast two good sized fish .
