In the UK, MPs regularly hold public discussions called Surgeries that allow their constituents a chance to vent. This started so people could yell at someone instead of beheading the King. X serves the same purpose. It lets you yell at celebrities instead of beheading them.

It's the only reason I use it. Plenty of better text based forums to exchange ideas, but where else can you get blocked by your favorite political figures
