Theoretically speaking, if a person joins the US military with the intention of threatening to commit sewer slide to 'sad out', how long do they need to stay in to get VA benefits?

If you enlist in the military and immediately go sad they will separate you with zero benefits and call it failure to adapt. Doing some time and being able to make a VA claim for anxiety, depression, etc is entirely different.

Pretty sure threatening that is grounds for discharge due to misconduct. No benies.

Serve your 4 years as a grunt. You'll get injuries you can claim. :)

Easiest way to get a dishonourable discharge is discussing self deletion. They can鈥檛 trust you around guns, you鈥檙e out, no trial or anything, psych discharge.

What VA benefits are you going on about? I did 4yrs and I'm entitled to one free "checkup"... are you assuming everyone is discharged with a service related medical condition? Yeah, if you get your dick blown off then I guess you are entitled to a lifetime supply of baldos, but..
