The FCC Commissioner is begging people to stop Biden from enacting an executive order which he says would require the FCC to regulate every facet of the Internet for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. I haven't read it yet.

This appears targeted to stop ISPs from discriminating against customers, which I don't think is even a thing. However, I wanted to see how they define protected categories, and as expected, political affiliation is not a thing. ISPs can still turn off Republican's routers.

The people who are writing these rules are the same people you have been fighting for years. Not a conspiracy. I mean the staffers and wagies who are hired and noone knows. These are the people that have Caraballo and Fong-Jones in their ear and actually draft these rules.

I have heard, in an interview with a Commissioner, one of the goals (besides giving some content control) is to make people who have high-speed internet (profitable areas with dense population) pay for it to operate where people don't (low-density and "poor" areas).
