Omegle has been shut down. The owner claims that there was a coordinated effort to use CSAM to make hosting the site impossible. They succeeded despite his best efforts. This is the future of all small websites if something is not done. omegle.com/

The author encourages people to donate to @EFF but it's worth mentioning that the EFF is no longer useful for its original purpose and key members of its structure are politically active. The EFF is not a hero. There are no heroes. No one is coming to save the Internet.

The Internet is long dead bro. We can only remember the good times when we used to visit dozens of websites in a day. It's the same problem with Walmart and Amazon pushing out small business owners. This is the outcome we have collectively allowed to happen.

Oh no, weirdos like Beardson won't be able to talk to children and look at their feet on webcam. What a great loss, truly the West has fallen and we must follow the Elves into the sea...

Do you think that the Deep State or Mainland China or something messed with Omegle to get it shut down? If they did, it would probably be because it was used by political dissidents to make content where they talk to people trying to spread their views. (i.e. Gypsy Crusader)

Coordinated effort sounds like bullshit when that website's had underage users since its inception

genuine insanity, clownworld. I remember Omegle being a staple of the online experience, at least when I was young. to see the internet wear down like this slowly but noticeably is extremely tiring. how complacent are people, when does the general public reach it's limit
