Texas is cool, we have fancy cheese and guns but the big cities are a bit soulless. Also way too many Californians moved in. I plan to eventually retire in the Ozarks.

Nevada - no rain, moisture, greenery. Ever growing presence of poor Californians. Poor quality tap water. LV college calls itself a designated minority serving institution. 115 degree summers. Joggers. Nearest place is LA, 5 hours through desert. Full of gambling old people.

Ohio, yes I know the worst, but we have large cities here that aren’t drowning in homeless and can walk in them without fear of being murdered or robbed.
