Texas is great. Great state to raise kids in and homeschool, social shaming still exists, cost of living is quite cheap almost everywhere, summer sucks but the gardening season never ends. Just wish it were colder and that fewer Californians were interested.

Missouri is accessible, affoardible, and based. Live away from Kansas City and St. Louis and you get rural people you can actually have a conversation with and law eforcement that actually arrest people. Embrace the midwest pill, go MO
