I like how Elon's name change forces all publications to refer to it as "the social media platform formerly known as Twitter" like when Prince changed his name to an unpronounceable symbol and everyone just called him "the artist formerly known as Prince".

Twitter was a very strong brand and part of the vernacular. You tweeted tweets on twitter. As a non-genius, I think X is big dum. At least Prince had a good reason. But I'm not a hundredbillionaire.

All those publications should have been equally as autistic and continued to exclusively refer to the app/platform/site as Twitter. 😏 The only people I see refer to it as 'X' unironically are Elon's squad of d!ck riders. 🙄
