Is Clover the sixth or seventh fallen human? If seventh, then the number of coffins in the intro might not be correct.

They are the sixth soul to be harvested but the seventh child. Chara doesn't count.

But in Undertale, Chara's coffin is the leftmost one, and there are seven coffins.

I'm not too sure what point you're trying to make. The intro just showed coffins. It probably didn't show the full hallway.

I believe I can try to clear up any confusion. Clover is the seventh human to fall into the underground. There are 7 coffins in Asgore's basement near the end of OG Undertale. Chara's soul was never taken by Asgore, as Asriel absorbed it and it shattered with his death.
