I don’t agree with Pelosi that you have to pass a bill to find out what’s in it. No more sneaking things past the American people. When I became Speaker, I changed the House Rules so that everyone can actually read any legislation at least 72 hours before a vote takes place.

I thought what Pelosi did was crazy to bring a bill that's over 3000 pages and give you no time to examine it. Every member of Congress should have voted no. All that bill was just a trim down version of the build back better bill which did nothing to benefit our country.
