As the Preamble to the Constitution ordains, one of the main roles of the federal government is to defend our national security. Democrats tried to gut the military's budget, but Republicans fought and secured a $28 billion boost from last year for our men and women in uniform.

We're not idiots anymore Kevin. You do not work for the people. The entire government on both sides of the aisle are corrupt AF. It's not going to change until the people change it and I believe it's coming very very soon.

Speaker McCarthy - "America has a spending problem" Speaker McCarthy - "We increased the military budget by $28 billion" How do you walk around speaking hypocritical contradictions all day long? America's military budget is almost $900 billion annually. China's is a bit over $200 billion. America has the world's most advanced military and the most powerful allies. We have reports of the military massively overpaying contractors for just about everything they ever buy, and reports of the military "misplacing" hundreds of billions of dollars of equipment. Your party has also become more isolationist, meaning you want our military sitting at home instead of getting involved in the conflicts of other nations. So why exactly do we need to spend even more on our military when we have children starving, people homeless, and citizens dying preventable deaths due to lack of affordable medical care?

If you could unwind international American bases, that would be great. Europe can afford it. They'll be fine. America will be stronger for it.
