I just got off the phone with the president a bit ago. After he wasted time and refused to negotiate for months, we've come to an agreement in principle that is worthy of the American people. I'll deliver a statement at 9:10pm ET. Watch here: speaker.gov/live/

We love you Mr. Speaker, BUT you bettef be ae to tell all Republicans that with all the leverage you had going into this that you at a minimum got rid of those 87,000 new IRS agents. I mean at a minimum!!! The only alternative would be that you negotiated to convert the 87,000 into School Marshals to protect our schools. I mean come on...!!!!

Leave out the cynicism... Compromises are a part of Governing* It is a pivotal time in our Country for BOTH Parties to work together to solve problems instead of political posturing. Mature Leaders negotiating for the good of ALL Americans.

If what I’m hearing is true. Then you fooled all, you caved even when you had a President agreeing to a $1trn cut. You sold out
