It will be 100% the fault of the @POTUS . Speaker McCarthy has done a masterclass in political negotiations here. This stalemate is not leadership. They should get it done today so the country and the markets can plan for the near term without so much uncertainty hanging overhead.

Speaker McCarthy has 8 days left to avoid becoming the first Speaker in history to screw the entire country over under the command of 20 insurrectionists and cement his place as the worst Speaker of the House in history. Fixed that for you. You're welcome.

Let the ceiling default!! Do Not bend, Do Not compromise!! As a taxpayer I would rather default than allow the Anti-American DS government to get one more penny! Also cut off Ukraine funding!! Defund any 3letter agency too! They are traitors to our country! And HER PEOPLE!

Which means you are 8 days away from being just the next Speaker to support raising the debt limit instead of lowering it.

"agrees to cut spending"?? From where? Social security? Medicare? Raising retirement age? Slashing anti poverty programs? Cuts to housing assistance? Health care programs? Other aid to the poor? No, sorry. @POTUS will NOT agree to that kind of deal. Rather republicans should accept that wealthy should pay more taxes. Next!

Why do you focus on the poor when you could focus on taxing those who CLEAR $33,333 per month - that’s AFTER expenses and taxes ??? Is it because these rich folk pay you to pick on the poor so they can buy more yachts and houses ?? $33,000 per month is a LOT .
