I've been very clear with the president since Day 1: We're not raising taxes. The problem is Washington spends too much.

You mean you want to continue NOT paying the taxes equitably. You are trying to remain Speaker, you just are doing an economic insurrection.

Interesting… So now you are concerned about spending. Data over rhetoric.

How about we REVERSE taxes and instead of getting tax breaks the top 1% pay their fair share of taxes!!!

Foremost Republicans have done NOTHING to raise the debt ceiling. The bill to which he refers is HR2811 offers a much lower one which would set our country back 10+ years from massive cuts, one among which could cut up to 81, 000 jobs for vets care. 🇺🇸👊 washingtontimes.com/news/202…

Translation: I have been clear since day one, I do not represent the 70% of Americans who believe Corporate America should pay more in taxes and use those funds to build stronger social safety nets. I represent DJT, who wants to watch this nation and every American suffer.

Stay strong…economics wins each and every time..it takes time
He’s right, but funny how he only seems to feel this way when the sitting president is a democrat.

Or.. congress could just pass a balanced budget instead of forcing the gov to spend way more than it takes in and then playing chicken with economic catastrophe because scoring a few political points are more important than governing well.
