Let's remember how we got here—10 days out from a Biden default on the national debt. He ignored the looming crisis for months, despite my repeated calls to negotiate. Because of his inaction, he risks bumbling into the first default in American history.

The US Treasury takes in almost 5x per month to service the approx 68 billion debt payment.

Not really Kevin. U.S. has defaulted or skipped out on debt or obligations multiple times. 1860's issued greenbacks to avoid obligations during the Civil War. FDR reneged on gold contracts as well as gold currency certificates. U.S. reneged on Silver certificates. Nixon blew up the Benton-Woods agreements . U.S. has a history when the executive branch wants to get out of a crisis it does stupid things, and wins stupid prizes.

It’s the house of representatives job to pass a bill and control the treasury of the United States. They’ve done their job now. If the president wanted to pass some thing different he needs to negotiate it’s called balance of power. McCarthy is in the driving seat as well. He should be in the checks and balance constitutional republic.

I am not able to perceive the implementation of tax cuts amounting to 2.7T for the affluent. The Republicans surprisingly and promptly reconciled the filibuster without any involvement from the Democrats. Kevin, you neglected to notify your team that this money is not new; it has been accumulating.

Now, put a chart up there showing who was in control of Congress during those years since Congress is the one that’s in charge of spending.
