Unfortunately I have no confidence the President understands anything about how the math actually works cuz he has relied on Hunter for so long to explain everything to him. Good luck attempting to negotiate with someone who lacks any fundamental understanding of how our economy actually works & only considers the political impact of his decisions not the actual impact. Thanks for taking a stand against wasteful federal spending & drawing attention to what the real problem is. With interest costs spiraling it is long past the time to cap the rate of increase in spending we have packed a generation of spending increases into just 4 years, it is frightening.

Do not yield. Do not surrender. Stay firm. This is needed for the future of our free Republic.

It sounds to me like no negotiations are necessary. This is "non-negotiable"... which means. No. No raise in the debt ceiling. Government needs to stop spending money. What makes you all think us tax payers that are funding this want to continue paying taxes for misuse?
