There shouldn't have been a debt limit in the first place. It has never worked to limit our debt, so why keep it? That's what you should do. Repeal the limit. Then we can get on to other matters...

In the last 40 years, the US deficit (receipts - expenditures) has increased under every GOP administration, and decreased under every Democratic one. The GOP is the party of reckless spending, while the Democrats are the party of fiscal responsibility.

Kevin McCarthy said in 2017 "When you raise the debt ceiling, that's actually paying for stuff that has already been spent." Trump has said "I can't imagine anybody ever even thinking of using the debt ceiling as a negotiating wedge." Are Republicans listening to their leaders?

Repeal the Trump/Ryan (scam) tax cuts for millionaires & the biggest corporations. That will do the same thing @SpeakerMcCarthy's 'Limit, Save, Grow Act' claims to do. It would cut spending, save taxpayer dollars, and grow the economy. Trump tax cuts = Trump inflation
