Republicans have made their case. It doesn’t mean they are correct. To default or not is 100% on the republican party. Republicans control the House. If the country defaults it is 100% the fault of the republican House. Every stock that falls. Every job lost. Everything.

The Republican House of Representatives passed a debt limit extension and budget. They have met their Congressional responsibilities. Now it’s up to the Senate and President.

What happened to not raising the debt limit at all? The average American household can't incur debt on top of debt on and on without limit. Why does our government spend beyond its means?
