Probably because he knows that in typical GOP fashion you and the rest of the party will fold!

The fact that you're not interested at all in a sensible debt limit?

He鈥檚 not bumbling in. You are pushing this

He won鈥檛 because he knows he doesn鈥檛 have to. Republicans won鈥檛 allow a default, so will ultimately cave. Only increase enough to cover Democrats reckless spending and submit a balanced budget for next fiscal year. Make them choose between a reasonable budget or government shutdown going into elections.

Kevin, Have you considered redoing this year's budget, deleting those things not wanted, adding things wanted, and keeping the total low enough to squeeze under the 1.5 T limit for the debt limit? And then showing the "revised budget' to the American people for approval?

Don鈥檛 raise it, he鈥檒l meet!

The President doesn鈥檛 negotiate with economic terrorists, Mr. Speaker. It needs to be a clean debt-ceiling raise like you did under Trump 3 times. No cuts, like Trump. Get it done.
