I’m worried about how the President is handling the debt ceiling. By ignoring it, he is walking us in to the first default in our nation’s history. We have a responsibility to act for future generations—before it’s too late.

Fiscal responsibility is not taking on any new debt and cutting waste.

It sounds like a debt ceiling is irrelevant is you raise it all the time.

So pay our debt off, back to zero, with BitCoins.
Funny thing, I can if I wanted to. I bet you couldn't afford to do it for a day. 24 followers, are you just another democrat bot?

The House controls the purse, not the President… Cut off the payola to Ukraine, give more than lip service to a audit of the welfare system to eliminate fraud and duplicate services…start behaving like the adults in the room. It’s taxpayer dollars, NOT YOURS…

Excellent question. It’s a very politically precarious matter. If McCarthy comes out and says “These jackasses are lying. There’s no chance for a default because the Treasury has plenty of money…”, he opens himself to the good ‘ol charge of “He’s trying to cut Social Security!”
I think you’re 100% correct obviously he’s trying to collapse the government throwing money at causes. We have no business being there refunds, NATO funds Nazis in Ukraine sends money to every country in the world except for us here I think you’re 100% correct

Debt ceilings cannot be raised by presidents. Only the congress can authorize an increase in the debt limit.
