I’m worried about how the President is handling the debt ceiling. By ignoring it, he is walking us in to the first default in our nation’s history. We have a responsibility to act for future generations—before it’s too late.

Oh yeah so worried:
TROUBLE FOR KEVIN MCCARTHY BREAKING: Kevin McCarthy draws the anger of Veterans after it’s revealed his plan will CUT Veteran benefits by a whopping 22%. One Congressman, a former Navy Officer, Rep. Chris Deluzio, called the plan “bullshit.” "Millions of Veterans are going to be screwed over by this plan. They won't get the care they've earned — It's a BS plan!" he said. Cutting funding by 22 percent would mean 30 million fewer veteran outpatient visits, and 81,000 jobs lost across the Veterans Health Administration—leaving veterans unable to get appointments for care including wellness visits, cancer screenings, mental health services, and substance use disorder treatment. Cuts to Veterans benefits, earned through blood & sweat and great sacrifices for our country, are outrageous and disgusting. It’s a betrayal of the military and their families. Republicans wrap themselves in the flag then push cuts to veterans. Rep. Deluzio is right. It’s bullshit. #NoCutsToVeteransCare

A credit based society is never wise, with fiat currency and the lack of a gold standard, a default might be a breath of fresh air to funding of a failed Bismarkian capitalist welfare state. (German model) post WWII.

This is on you! You shouldn’t hold the credit of America hostage for political gains. This fight is for budget negotiations not debt ceiling that is paying our bills on time. Trump increased the national debt by 25% and you didn’t care. Pay the bills!

Take a pill and/or go for a walk and sleep earlier without tweeting or watching Fox News. It does help reduce the anxiety.

Actually he can follow the GOP playbook. Ignore you, raise the debt ceiling anyway, and wait for it to work it’s way through the courts.

Get a backbone, you're in charge of the House where appropriations start, not the President, do you job, mark up a budget, stop raising the debt ceiling, Get a clue Kevin or step down.

Dear Speaker, to pay the bills you guys already contracted, suggest you take back the $1.9 trillion you gave your wealthy benefactor families and corporations. Next everyone in the House should pay a tax surcharge on the equities and donations acquired while in office.

I support unilateral actions! Corrupt republicans can be excluded!

He is not ignoring it. It is up to you to raise the debt ceiling, so do it. He said he is willing to negotiate the budget during appropriations.

I hope your future credit card reflects the debt that you support for our nation.
