Mr. President: I'm incredibly concerned you are putting an already fragile economy in jeopardy by insisting upon your extreme position on the debt limit. It’s time to drop partisanship, roll up our sleeves, & find common ground on this urgent challenge. bit.ly/LimitSaveGrow

Speaker McCarthy, as a conservative, I agree in principle that we can't continue to raise the debt. However, the time to fight debt increase is in the budget. Once Congress approves, it goes without saying that they also agreed to finance it.

Speaker, Mccarthy: I’m incredibly concerned that you don’t seem to understand that the debt limit has to be raise to cover spending already approved by Congress. You can try and blame it on President Biden, but nobody is buying it. You are a liar, and no patriot.

Mr. Speaker - YOU need to approve PAYING Trump’s massive debt THEN discuss a reasonable budget

If we default on the debt limit, it will be because of you and your Caucus. You refuse to even say specifically what you want. And you have not provided a counter-proposal.

McCarthy still hasn't presented a bill that specifies spending cuts. He is playing politics - AGAIN! He is the one refusing to 'find common ground' Why? Because his constituents only respond to knee-jerk disapproval of any solutions Democrats offer.
