You know what gives ALL OF THE ABOVE? School Choice! Reduce Fed Dept of Education to 1/10th it's size. Limit it to basic regulatory authority over accepted standards. Fed Subsidies follow student. Take unions out of teacher credentialing process thus rewarding good teachers!
