The Parents Bill of Rights is for every Mom, Dad, and—most importantly—student in America. It guarantees your seat at the table that no school board, no administration, and no political party can take away. nitter.vloup.ch/i/broadcasts/1Yq…

I put two kids all the way thru school…never had a problem getting this inf9 and we certainly don’t need the Federal Government here… It’s all about astroturfing school boards in Virginia Kevin…we watched what y’all did

Children need homes, three meals a day, good healthcare, daycare when both parents work, & a good education. You should be working toward those goals. Instead, you focus on a purely symbolic bill which does nothing to give them these basic essentials of life. #GOPGrandstanding

The way I read it is it gives undue power to a group of parents that want to change the education system in the United States providing adeficient education for public school students and having text dollars support their private school tuition

History is going to look down at you as being the weakest speaker of the house in history. And it won't be kind

Excellent, now parents can demand schools not teach their children all those pesky facts about science and history, instead they can be taught Creationism and, ya know, nothing about the racist things in the country's past. Because that's not going to end badly.

Parents send their kids to school to be taught by trained professionals. parents aren't trained professional teachers. When I went to school the only thing my parents cared about was whether I was doing well in school. That is the role of the parent when it comes to schooling.
