If President Biden is so eager to speak on the economy, then he should set a date to discuss a responsible debt ceiling increase. We must finally address Washington’s irresponsible government spending if we want to put America on a better fiscal path.

You don’t put America on a better fiscal path by refusing to pay your debts. Raising the debt ceiling is not about future spending. This is to make payments on the $7.8 trillion debt incurred during the Trump presidency.

I’ve got a great idea: If you agree to rollback those reckless 2017 tax cuts, the national debt will virtually take care of itself. It’s an easy fix.

Actually, he should set a date as to when he wants a budget for next year- which is directly your responsibility- on his desk. Once you and Schumer provide this to him, he'll tell you when he wants a bill on his desk for the debt limit. Hope this is clear.

There's no discussion needed Kevin, pay our bills b4 you mess up the credit rating of the USA. Maybe you and Biden can discuss all the failed tax breaks for the 2%ers?

1. No more tax welfare to 1%, that’s crazy “spending “ 2. No more money to Israel, they have money 3. Corporations need to pay at least 15% tax, it’s getting ridiculous
