Congress has been broken for a long time. Over the years, a concentration of power within the Speaker’s Office has kept lawmakers on the legislative sidelines. Lawmaking should be open to all members—not just a select few—so that the best ideas win.

As chair of @RulesReps, @TomColeOK04 is boldly leading the shift from the centralized power of the past and returning to regular order that empowers the American public. Republicans are keeping our commitment to make Congress more open, accountable, and responsive to you.

Oh wow...I just spit water all over my computer screen. That is the funniest thing that I have read today. So, for "transparency", Kevin, what deals did you make before the 15th vote?

Is THIS what you call giving up your own Speaker powers to a select few MAGA extremists for votes? Making excuses for your bribery tactics? Now trying to make it look like it was your intentional move all along? Truth is, you're WEAK. And now as a puppet, you're WEAKER THAN EVER.

Neither you, your party, or any other Republican ever publically made any such commitment. Thus, you are improvising; but more to the point, prevaricating. Your "openness" is limited to that which casts a shadow on the opposition. Thus, you can never be more than half right.
