.@virginiafoxx is exactly right: "From the classroom to school board meetings, parents demand unfettered accountability from those who are responsible for teaching their children. They are the torchbearers for their children’s education, and they are a force to be reckoned with."

As a former NM School Board member at the local level we always have unfettered access. With my children and grandchildren I have always been welcomed to be a part of their learning experience.

Replying to @SpeakerMcCarthy
Hey Qev: parents have always had unfettered accountability from teachers. What @virginiafoxx wants is for parents to limit what children are being taught about American History, LGBTQ issues, & what books they can read. BIG DIFFERENCE!

Why do Republicans hate teachers?

Wow - during COVID where are our teachers ?— now- we don’t trust the professionals who teach our children under a regulated curriculum? Go into teaching if you don’t trust teachers- go to another school - do you second guess your dr or lawyer this way? Why your kids’ teachers?

How many Adults can name the Governor? Lt Governor? School Principal? Superintendent of Schools? President of PTA? 📌A Child's 1st/longest teacher is the Parent. We need parents to do more w teaching Reading & Math. Not hard, just requires a commitment. It's NOT ALL on Teachers.

More nothing burger. Parents already have these rights. We've had them for years.
