Education freedom isn’t anti-public school, it’s pro-student and pro-parent. I believe that every child deserves the freedom to learn in the way that works best for them. Because when parents have a choice, kids have a chance. edweek.org/policy-politics/o…

Still shilling for the elites. Every dollar taken from Public Education is a dollar given to Christian Nationalism.

Parents have difficulties being there at bus stops. How are they going to take kids to their choice of school? Why not improve all the schools so that the parents don't have to change their local schools

Uh Tim, there are Republican parents who want classes like, "Alternatives to the Holocaust" taught in our children's classrooms. Do you really want this?!?

Spot on! I support public but it must work. It can. It has and so many cities in have amazing public schools but children (in ALL locations) MUST have school success. That is the point.

Apparently you don’t view education as a profession. Would you want your surgeon to consult with local “parents” on how best to remove your tumor? Or if wrongfully charged with a crime..would you want your high-priced lawyer to run his defense strategy by a panel of “parents”?

These kids will have half the curriculum removed from their studies. That's not much of a chance.

"Education Freedom" like "Religious Liberty" is another Conservative euphemism for doing the opposite of what it claims to be. True education freedom would have well funded schools, well compensated teachers, and opportunities for the poorest among us while not diverting funding.

Vouchers are tax subsidies aka socialism for private school families, and a taxpayer funded bailout for private schools.
