Today’s Supreme Court ruling overturning President Biden’s illegal student loan scheme is a victory for common sense. You take out a loan, you pay it back. This decision frees taxpayers from shouldering debt they never signed up for.

How many times have we bailed out financial institutions, the automobile industry and American corporations? Let’s not forget the billions that go to subsidies for farmers (due to Trump’s for political points tariffs) subsidies for the fossil fuel industries (that lied to Americans about climate change and destruction that has brought)?

Justifying this decision by claiming that other taxpayers would’ve shouldered the cost is just bananas, and you know it. Thanks for hurting your SC constituents that are struggling to repay the loans … those constituents whose tax dollars helped repay PPP loans. Why weren’t you jumping up and down about that? Because you’re a Republican puppet.

ok Karen
Meanwhile 100% of Americans pay to transfer billions to the top 1%, subsidize big oil, and forgive loans to Republican politicians who don’t need the help. Oh, and we pay your and all Trump-enabling traitor salaries. Fu@k you @SpeakerMcCarthy and @GOP. I want my money back.

They will probably come up with another scheme to buy votes with the taxpayers money.

The higher ed / gov't loan complex is the money fountain used to enrich the higher ed institutions. They increase tuitions many times over inflation rates knowing they will be paid via obscene student loans. They are awash in $. So much so they over staff & over pay while offering classes of little value because they have the excess $ to do so. Canceling student loans perpetuates this corrupt cycle.
