Yes, Tim, parents matter and are responsible for THEIR OWN CHILDREN ONLY. So, if they want to decide on books, history lessons, or school choice; then let them make that decision for the children they are responsible for.

Education needs to start at home. Kids need opportunities to learn things even if it makes a mess. They need to be read to and see their parents read. They need exposure to numbers. They need to see their parents learning new things.
