If regulators knew since 2021 Silicon Valley Bank had problems, why didn't they take appropriate steps to prevent #SVB's collapse? As @BankingGOP Ranking Member, I'll get to the bottom of why our regulators were asleep at the wheel.

Classic Repuke ploy, deregulate everything, then when it fails due to lack of oversight, blame the Dems! Pathetic and weak, that鈥檚 todays Repuke party

We know why trump got rid of those regulations that were in place but it鈥檚 a common theme when republicans change banking laws then they go bankrupt and we bail them out I wish I could live my life that way and get the same help

Why dont you get with the Pres of the Bank tell him to RETURN the nice, cushy bonus of 1.5 million dollars he gave himself a week before the collapse? Probably a Repub too! HE KNEW.

First to admit I鈥檓 not an expert in this field but I also understand the free market doesn鈥檛 like government intervention as a rule. Preemption is unheard of I would think.

Republicans Deregulated those banks just like they deregulated rail roads to keep their donors happy, now they want to fix what they broke. Pathetic hypocrites.
