My 13 years serving in local government taught me that mass transportation is a local issue. We need to empower our communities to find local solutions for local issues.

And we know how wonderful roads are in SC….SC ranks 38 in transportation…so local governments run by Republicans are not working for SC residents

If you are ever to consider moving people from place to place efficiently trains/subways/buses/planes have 1 engine that moves Hundreds of people. While you sit in rush hour traffic burning fuel or sit charging your Electric vehicles it's something to ponder.

Scott believes in cutting Social Security and Medicare so middle class seniors pay for the elite Republican donors tax cuts.

You've never traveled to Europe or Asia I assume where you can easily get from one area to another I live in the south we only have buses within our city and people who need health care which is not available under GOP states in small communitiesmay not have transportation

Probably why the US has zero high speed rail compared to tens of thousands of miles of trains doing up to 260 mph in Europe, China and Japan. Local is great but in the big stuff we lag far far behind.
