Public schools have highly qualified teachers who are certified in the subjects they teach. No such requirement in private schools.

The flip side of school choice for parents is that those private and charter schools also get to choose what kids they will (and won't) accept. Public schools don't have that option.

Tim, please look at the data and quit pushing the use of our hard earned tax money towards private religious schools. Throwing money at these inferior private schools weakens our public school system. And you know that!
