The truth is we can and should produce our own energy. Domestic energy production means more jobs, lower prices, and less dependence on others for energy security.

Oil production is actually up, Senator. What is lacking is refinery capacity. Old, outdated refineries that require more maintenance than before. With the exception of 1 recent refinery in Tx, which was sold to SA during trump's watch, no new refineries have been built since '75.
