Today, Democrats again tried to spend their way out of the inflation caused—ironically—by their reckless spending. With inflation raging and our economy heading into a recession, Democrats still chose to spend money we don’t have on things Americans don’t need—and didn’t ask for.

Make no mistake: this bill will increase tax burdens on generations of Americans. That’s why I voted ‘no’ and will continue fighting against Democrats’ economic plans that put the American Dream further out of reach for families across our nation.

This is a historic moment. For over 60 years, @AARP has been working to lower prescription drug prices. Thanks to today’s Senate vote, millions of Americans 50+ are one step closer to real relief from out-of-control costs for medications. spr.ly/6013zfsxH

Some 7 million Americans require insulin daily. A Yale University study found that 14 percent of those insulin users are spending more than 40 percent of their income after food and housing costs on the medicine.#gapol I hope GA voters will remember this when they vote

Fact check anyone: 100% inflation means a 50% decrease in the effective size of the deficit. So what we are seeing is the Democrat deficit reduction plan in action.

Tim is now a word man. Hmmm. Interesting. Just tell the truth. It’s much easier.

You must be from another planet. Not one where people are concerned about healthcare costs, fairer tax payments, and fighting effects of climate change - including on S. Carolina. Plus this law funds a reduction in deficit run up by former GOP admin.

Paid by taxes on the rich. But please do go on.

I guess you haven't talked to your constituents lately but I think they all want climate change addressed, lower drug prices and lower health care costs.

Why did you vote NO on capping insulin prices? The US pays 20x as much as any other country in the world. Complain about the bill but it was gonna pass so why not do some good? No moral high ground here
