Do you understand that parents don't make the plans for learning in the classroom. The state and teachers make them. If they want total control of what their kids learn then they better home school them. You can't make all parents happy with learning in the classroom. @funder

What exactly is this supposed to mean? Parents have choice. They can choose public schools or private/parochial schools. Our tax dollars shouldn’t pay for those, though.

Let's CHOOSE to make ALL public schools BETTER by ripping every shred of COMMON CORE OUT of them! Choice is okay, but we should not have to choose. Make all schools a good choice!

@SenatorTimScott How about more funding for rural and poor communities. If the @GOP care so much about education. Why is every southern state at the bottom of the list when it comes to education. Including #SouthCarolina which is ranked 42. #RepublicanParty =last in #education

Parents do have a say in their education. Parents already have choice.

I agree Mr. Scott but let's not give private schools a pass on their discriminatory practices and let's also not forget the state legislature and their non-stop testing mandates are forcing public schools to become test centers. Shame on you for never pointing out the differences

When you have a track record of endorsing unqualified candidates (DeVos, Weaver) for top positions in education, I don't think that education is actually your priority. Follow the money. google.com/amp/s/abcnews4.co…

Then why don’t you submit legislation guaranteeing equitable funding to schools located in underprivileged neighborhoods, @SenatorTimScott
