Biden took office and immediately shut down American energy independence. After that, gas prices rose 60% by last Thanksgiving…months before Putin invaded Ukraine.   When it comes to higher prices, the president has no one to blame but himself.

Trump doubled Russian oil imports. You were silent about that, weren't you?

South Carolina deserves Senators that actually understand economic impact instead of playing party politics and creating division.

Shut down what? 1) Production UP 1.1 million barrels/day 2) Rig count ~doubled 3) 16 pipelines completed 4) More permits than Trump 5) Produce MORE energy than we consume = STILL energy independent 5) Dems introduced price gouging prevention bill but Republicans voted AGAINST it

@SenatorTimScott and @SenateGOP You both know that our energy independence is no different than 2-3 yrs ago. It is about global pricing. Why lie to the public? U.S. also has wheat and corn surplus, but prices rising due to global demand, not nation. You know that too.

If you blame @POTUS when prices go up, you need to congratulate him now that they are coming down, Tim!
